Who we are
How it all Started
Hi I'm Joshua Pozzolungo
Hi, I’m Josh, an engineering/law student at UNSW and the founder of Tutor Victory. I started this business after achieving a 95+ ATAR and realising how much students miss out on when they don’t receive proper support. Over time, I’ve noticed how teaching has become less personal, with many students left without the guidance they need – not just in understanding the content, but in learning how to study effectively. That gap inspired me to create Tutor Victory, a service that goes beyond just covering the syllabus. My focus is not only on improving grades but also on mentoring students, giving them the tools to study smarter, and building their confidence so they can succeed in school and beyond. At Tutor Victory, every lesson is personalised, one-on-one, supportive, and designed to give students the long-term skills they need to achieve their own “victory” in learning.

How are we different to any other tutoring company?
Unlike generic learning centers that often group students together, we provide a strictly one-on-one experience, ensuring every minute of the session is tailored to the student’s unique pace and challenges. We remain firmly committed to face-to-face tutoring, fostering a high-engagement, distraction-free environment that online platforms simply cannot replicate. Our mentorship doesn’t end when the lesson finishes; we provide 24/7 on-demand support, giving students a direct line for help exactly when they need it whether they are stuck on a difficult late-night problem or prepping for an exam the next morning
What subjects do you cover?
We currently cover ALL major subjects for HSC (NSW) – with full expansions rolling out very soon across Australia and internationally.

We cover all year groups from Kindegarten all the way up to Year 12!
Who are our tutors?
Every one of our tutors are university students who have achieved a 90+ ATAR with a Band 6 in the subjects they teach, ensuring they have the firsthand expertise to tutor their nominated subject(s). Furthermore, we prioritise student safety and professionalism, with all tutors holding valid Working With Children Checks (WWCC).
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is done through Stripe. Stripe accepts all major credit and debit cards.
Do you offer any discounts?
Of course!
The more hours per week, the cheaper your fees will be. One hour per week will entail full price, whereas for each additional hour we will reduce your fee by $15 per additional hour.
We also have our prepaid package, where you will save $50 across 10 prepaid hours.
Additionally if you refer us to a friend and they sign up with us for the term you will get ONE lesson completely FREE!
How is online tutoring set up?
Once you sign up with us, ensure you have an account with Microsoft Teams – it is completely free. Once this is done, we will email you an invite link to your very own Microsoft Team with yourself and the tutor and the tutor will simply start a call each scheduled lesson. Simple!
Where are face-to-face lessons conducted?
If you opt for our face-to-face tutoring mode, we come to your location! Completely hassle free and extremely convenient. By completing our consultation form, we will already have your address and will simply come to you once lessons have been organised. Alternatively, face-to-face lessons can also be arranged at a public meet up spot – library, cafe, university campus, etc.
How do I pay for lessons?
All payments are handled through Stripe – a very secure and reputable payment processing software. Payments are recurring meaning, we will store your card credentials and will be charged immediately after the lesson is concluded. If you cancel any lessons due to illness, school holidays, etc the recurring billing will be paused and you will not be charged.
